
We're still not entirely sure if we'll see any NFL action at all in 2011, but if we do there may be more of it happening in the middle of the week.
SportsBusiness Daily reports the
NFL is shopping an 8-game Thursday night package (separate from the games that are already scheduled to air on
NFL Network) that it would pull from the CBS and Fox Sunday afternoon schedules to air on another network like
Versus or TNT. Considering the increasing possibilty of a future where the NFL resolves its labor issues and the NBA is still locked out, we could definitely see pressure to pick up football games for prime time airing during the week.
