White iPhone 4 Is Coming Thursday
Putting an end to months of rumors and speculation, Apple has announced that the white version of iPhone 4 will become available Thursday.
The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and its beautiful, said Phil Schiller, Apples senior VP of worldwide product marketing. He had previously announced the white iPhone 4 for this spring.
As far as functionality goes, the white iPhone 4 brings absolutely nothing new: The only thing thats different from the existing iPhone 4 is the color.
The white iPhone 4 will be available in Apples online store and retail stores, as well as AT&T and Verizon Wireless stores and select Apple authorized resellers. The suggested price is the same as the black version of the device: $199 for the 16 GB model and $299 for the 32 GB model with a new! two-yea r agreement.
Besides the U.S., Apple plans to make the white iPhone 4 available in the following countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and the UK.
The device should also become available in many more countries around the world soon.
