Official: Android 3.0 Honeycomb to be unveiled next Wednesday

Andy Rubin, Googles VP of Engineeringwill be in Mountain View, CA, next Wednesday to officially unveil Honeycomb, Googles new operating system developed specifically for tablets, as first reported by AllThingsD.

Rubin and a few other Goolgers will show Android 3.0 Honeycomb, which will run on Motorolas new XOOM tablet that was unveiled at CES earlier this month with T-Mobiles LG tablet expected to follow shortly after.This event follows hot on the heels of the Verizons CES keynote speech just a few weeks ago.
