Samsung reportedly confirms Nexus Prime

In an attempt to stop the spread of a leaked Nexus Prime firmware build, Samsungs legal department appears to have confirmed both the existence of the phone and rumors that device was built by Samsung. It has come to our attention that you are wrongfully in possession of, and intend to release or otherwise publicly disclose without Samsungs consent, firmware for the Nexus Prime, a letter obtained by Geek.com said. The Nexus Prime firmware is the exclusive property of Samsung and/or its partners, suppliers and affiliates. The letter is signed by Samsungs General Counsel, Bryan Hopkins, though the source of the letter has removed the name. Weve reached out to Samsung to confirm the legitimacy of the letter. The Nexus Prime is expected to be Googles first Ice Cream Sandwich device, as BGR exclusively reported, and rumors have suggested that it will launch on Verizon Wireless in October. An image of the purported letter follows below.
